The 8-part series follows the lives of four female ex-cons (Ellie, Hannah, Josie and Shoo) attempting to start a new life, who find themselves in the Scottish village of Hope Springs.

Along with fellow ex-cons Hannah, Josie and Shoo, Ellie finds herself in hiding in a remote Scottish village called Hope Springs after their plans to start a new life in Barbados – courtesy of £3m stolen from Ellie's gangster husband – go awry.
